How to delete an inspection

Sometimes you might need to delete an inspection. Perhaps you created a test inspection while trying out the app, or decided it would be better to start fresh. Whatever the reason, here is how to do it.

Deleting an inspection

1. Navigate to the property where the inspection is located.
2. Tap the inspection you want to delete.
3. Scroll down and select "Edit Inspection".
4. Press "Void Inspection". This voids the inspection and creates a duplicate for you to make any necessary changes.
5. If you want to remove the inspection entirely without making changes, tap "Edit" at the top of the screen, scroll to the bottom, and press "Delete Inspection". This removes the duplicate copy from your app.

When the edit option doesn't appear

In some cases you may not be able to delete an inspection, for example if the app was uninstalled and reinstalled, or if you signed in as a different user. When this happens the "Edit Inspection" option might not appear.
