About myInspections

myInspections is a property inspection app that helps landlords, property managers, and inspectors capture, sign, and share professional inspection reports from their phone.

Our story

Our team has a bit of a track record in building software platforms. Between us, we've founded myRent.co.nz (a platform for managing rental properties in New Zealand), Roomies.com (the USA's largest roommate finder), and NeedAPart.co.nz.

In 2023, we founded myInspections to focus on an offline-first, phone-native experience for performing rental property inspections and generating great reports.

We originally built myInspections with landlords in mind. Since then, we have expanded it beyond landlords; today, our biggest customer segment is property professionals (managers and agents), and myInspections is also widely used by building inspectors, social housing providers, cleaners, and more! Pretty much anyone who wants a nice photo-based inspection with consistency and repeatability.

Our whole team is based between New Zealand and Australia. We're fully self-funded, and proud to be a small, lean, kind, and techy team that cares about making good products.
